Battery Management and Handling Rules

Livfast participates in BMHR Project, initiated by the Government of India. Abiding by the rules and regulations set by MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND FORESTS under THE BATTERIES (MANAGEMENT AND HANDLING) RULES, 2001 as amended from time to time, Livfast has setup used battery collection centres all over India for collection of used batteries for recycling and disposing purpose. Following it’s “Green Earth” belief, Livfast uses recycled Lead to manufacture new batteries.

Our Used battery collection centres buy used batteries from customer’s and safely transport them to our recycling centres. Our Lead recycle process is safe, environment friendly and follows the rules set by Central Pollution Control Board and State Pollution Control Board to stop environmental pollution.
